Wendy and Drew transformed their backyard into a stunning wedding venue, welcoming 150 guests to celebrate their union. The home, built in the 1980s by Drew's late father, provided the perfect backdrop, rich with family history. Touching details were woven throughout, including the wooden arbor carved by Drew’s father, featuring a heart and the words "Mi Corazon," along with his parents' names, standing above the couple as they said their vows. Sentimental touches like Wendy’s pearl necklace, adorned with a diamond from her late Nana, and the couple's champagne glasses that also belonged to Nana, added to the day's heartfelt atmosphere.

The decor was a beautiful blend of vintage elegance and simplicity. White florals with hints of blue delphiniums filled the ceremony space and tables. Hundreds of vintage candle holders, paired with dried orange slices marking each guest’s seat, sat atop the long tables. Twinkle lights and lanterns hung from the trees, creating a warm and inviting ambiance for guests as they ate and laughed together. Custom butter flavors at each table added a unique flare - requested by Wendy, but appreciated by all. Heartfelt speeches, followed by dancing and a delicious cake cutting tied the day up in a perfect bow, and Wendy + Drew's happily ever after began.
