nina + will chose to tie the knot in palm springs, california with 75 of their closest friends and family at the stunning O'donnell house at the willow. It was the perfect location for their celebration with incredible views of the desert mountains and the sun setting over the city as everyone danced to taylor swift under string lights.
the morning of the wedding, will forwent the traditional "getting ready" scene by hitting up a local skatepark with some friends. For the sake of not breaking my wrists, i had to decline the offer to join.. but next time.
Meanwhile, nina and her gals got ready at hotel el cid - a cute ass boutique hotel the couple rented out for their family and friends to enjoy the weekend relaxing [and partying] by the pool.
the couple then met at the o'donnell house for their first look and portraits around the historic mansion before the main event. surrounded by colorful bougainvillea and guests, nina + will exchanged heartfelt vows, recounting their meet cute and all the lovely moments since. tears fell, laughs were shared and their marriage stared with a kiss and a walk down the aisle as they were showered with flower petals.
the evening continued with incredible food, views, conversation and dancing. the decor added a fun splash of the couple's personalities, highlighting albums that the two enjoyed. and i must say they had great taste because once the dance floor opened, not a guest missed the opportunity to sing/ dance their heart out.
overall i'd say 10/10, would absolutely do this day again [and again and again]
